"Exporting" Developed files in Lightroom
I used our LR discussion to Sharpen and batch "Export" scaled-up hires TIFF files - see graphic below. Notice the dimension of the 1st TIF file [10000 x 7500] - that would be a 75MB file from a cropped 8MB camera file! Not a problem when using Lanczos interpolation.
Interesting comments from the graphic artist laying out the poster. We can talk about this more at our next session.

Calibrating YOUR Digital Camera
We discussed how to apply the calibration values found using Tom Fors calibration. We created subsets to apply the calibration to RAW files already adjusted and save "new" Camera Raw Defaults including our newly created RAW calibration for our cameras. One interesting finding was a from a Forum member who has 2 camera of the same model found the calibration for each was very different. This supports the fact that the difference in calibration setting is due to the unique color-coating on our camera chip to extend it from its inherent red sensitive range to the entire spectrum.
