"The
first rule to tinkering is to save all the parts."
Paul Erlich
Layers
are the basis for EVERYTHING!
An understanding
of Photoshop Layers is an essential part of Bob's digital enhancement
method and a base for anyone wanting to fully use Photoshop's power.
For full photo control we need to select and isolate different parts of
the image to make them addressable. This activity will provide a familiarity
of layer techniques needed to execute "The Method"
To perform this lesson you will need the file PSPwindows.TIF
which you got on the CD or from Bob's class. If you don't have that file
you can
download this photo PSPwindows.JPG by
right clicking on the photo and then save.
