Activity: Introduction to "Layers"
Reading: Chapters 1,2,3 - Studio Techniques by Ben Wilmore

Skills needed to perform this lesson:
Selection Tools: A basic knowledge of "Selections" tools.
Objective: To create new layers and become familiar with the "Layers Palette".
Layers are the basis for creative expression!
An understanding of "layers" is essential for full photo expression in Photoshop. We need to select different parts of the image and isolate them on different layers to make addressable. This activity will introduce some basic layer techniques and thr layers palette.


For this lesson you will need the PSPcollageA; B; C; and D.jpg files on the CD or from Bob's class.
