Gamut, Color Space & Out of Gamut Colors
Gamut is the entire range of colors that can be interpreted by a color model. Color Space is a three-dimensional representation of colors that can be generated by a specific device or working space. This space (or gamut or range of colors ) can be define by a profile. Saving a profile of the working space with the your image data creates a "tagged file".When you convert, or move, from one color space to another, colors that can not be reproduced are said to be "Out of Gamut".
